Along with accepting commissions from the start of 2023, I've moved to a looser style employing palette knife, sgraffito (i.e. scratching or scraping through a layer of wet paint to reveal the layer underneath), random markings, and impasto (AKA thickly applied paint). The downside of the latter technique is that the paint takes longer to dry. However, such paintings will be posted in the gallery in advance of them going on sale, and can be reserved at any time subject to payment of a 20% deposit. Email me if you wish to reserve a work (or if you would like to discuss a commission). I've just added the first such painting to the gallery - Leith Bowling Green, oil on canvas, 18" x 14". More of these "chaotic" works...
